Edwin Ochieng Okul; BA (KU), PGDip Education (KU), MA (Maseno) PhD Candidate (UoN)
Mr. Edwin Ochieng Okul is a founder member, Task Team Leader (Training and Capacity Building) and Assistant Treasurer at IProMES.
He is a professional evaluator with over 20 years of experience. He has worked in education, project management, democracy and governance, youth workforce and skills development and child protection sectors as an evaluator, researcher, educator and administrator. Mr. Ochieng has participated in numerous evaluations, baseline studies, assessments, labour market assessments and tracer study missions, sometimes serving as subject-matter lead. He is adept at designing M&E systems and frameworks, has experience with international project management and activity-level data verification, analyses and reporting. Previously, Mr. Ochieng spent more than a decade as an educationist, a youth workforce & skills development projects manager and M&E officer. He is a Technical Examiner at the Kenya National Examinations Council and Adjunct Faculty at Maseno University
Mr. Ochieng holds a Bachelor Arts Degree in Sociology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, a Master’s Degree in Project Monitoring and Evaluation and is currently pursuing a PhD in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi.
